Definitely much older..... Thousands of years older. There was just an auction yesterday with artifacts from your general area... Very nice full groove axe!! They are the oldest axes you can find in our area. 3/4 groove axes are a bit 'newer' than the full grooves... Sweet bud! :thumbsup:

So you're saying that the big thing gets mounted on a handle? I thought it was made to fit the hand.

The lighter is more modern and not valuable....:laughing7:

The grooved ax is similar to those in my small collection.
