Indian Hammer? Bone Splitter Lithic?

I've had this one for about 15 years. Found it in my backyard in Ohio near Lake Erie. I could be wrong, but I think I saw one just like it in a museum in Ohio. The back measures approx. 1 3/4 x 1 1/2 inches.
This is the back oval. The 'blade' is a little more than 1 3/4inches horizontally. I placed red dots to help show the symmetry and form of the artifact.

Any feed back is very welcomed.

Hard to see any flaking on the edges with the red dots there. In my opinion, it is likely to small for the uses you suggest, but if the edges are worked, I would go with a scraper or crude blade of some sort.

i think it may be a flint hammerstone possibly.

I found it in Ohio about three feet down in clayish soil near the tail end of a moraine.
