Info on fossil please

I picked this and a few more up about 24yrs ago as a child, I knew they were super cool. I was in the smoker mountains, don't know if north or South Carolina I can't remember. I just found them again cleaning my garage.. can anyone explain to me what I may or may not have and also, what type of rock everything is fossilized on. Thanks in advance you guys. First one looks like a scallop fossil to me.

Agree, looks like you found a bunch of fossilized scallops, but what ever rock they are in, I don't have the foggiest..
