I picked up the following two spoons. They both had hallmarks I was not familiar with. I think I paid $.99 each for them and did a little research. The three towers on the one spoon is Danish silver and indicates it was manufactured in 1923. The ZII hallmark on the small ladle is a Dutch hallmark for 830 Silver. Learn something new every day. By the way the ladle weighed 58 g and the other one way 28.6 g. ImageUploadedByTreasureNet.com1462499475.384940.jpg ImageUploadedByTreasureNet.com1462499486.491926.jpg

That castle mark is one to remember. A few time I've got solid silver with that mark from a seller assuming it was just plate stuff, because it didn't say sterling. Scandinavian silver very often sell more then scrap. That ladle looks interesting? Simple modern designs, I've found are more desired then the older fancy looking stuff or so it seems to me?.
