I found this many years ago in Maine. I feel like there is some signs of it being a tool or I could be completely 20160224_134036.jpg 20160224_134025.jpg 20160224_134004.jpg wrong. Would love to hear your opinions as to what it could be.

Sorry, but it sure looks natural to me. I don't see anything that says it was altered by man.

I would have to go along with quito unless a better photo showed me it was not. A lot of stone will wear down leaving a ring around them due to another mineral being in that stone. Welcome to T-net:hello:

Tough angle can you forward a profile pic of the top going down to the possible tip. Could by worn grooved axe but from what I see now would agree with others - natural. Close ups of the worn edges would be great as well. On the right path I most likely would have picked it up as well. Welcome to TNet!

Need pic outside on it in natural light. Cant say without a better photo. Has a nice shape to it but if it was a water find it could be natural.
