Is it time to see a shrink for my detecting obsession?

Okay so I'm new, I admit that but it keeps getting worse!

When I got my detector I thought I might use it once in a while when we go to the beach and find a few coins and such.

I didn't realize it would lead to an obsession!

First, it started off detecting every Saturday

Then, Saturday and part of sunday

Now I detect andy day I am available (and wife lets me)

Now, i keep the detector in the trunk so I can go hunting at any available time!

I went from seeing a spot and say, I should see if I can detect there to
actually doing the research, legwork and calls to make it happen.

Now, just last night I dreamed that I got permission to hunt an old plantation house!

When does it end!

It ends about 3 days after you die!

Welcome to the sport.
Yeah, I know, I get "the fever" myself sometimes.

I think even if a nuclear holocaust wiped out all of mankind, I would STILL be going out dirt fishing.

Sometime I'm on my way to a club hunt and I see a good spot and I have to slap myself -
"Wait a minute, Dummy, you're already going to a hunt!"
