I'm thankful for the rain..it softens up the ground a bit so I dont need a jackhammer to retrieve those finds!

Amen on the jack hammer. This rain sure has helped, but still not enough. It's still to hot, and the musquitos will drink all your blood.

I got 4 inches here in north,north east austin,it took 3 days to get it,but least we got it.

I was out digging this afternoon. Muddy shoes, but found over a buck in change. Fall is coming!

well, not much to speak of. About 97 cents, a golf ball..........but no muddy shoes.

After being down with shingles for 2 weeks, I'm ready to do some detecting even if I have to WADE! On the other hand, my coolest site is so muddy you'd have to be airlifted out if you were crazy enough to go in there...
