I went to Kellyco and saw the solid coil. I'll never know why they would put a floating coil on a detector that can be used under water? I think that's a good move from Whites if all the BHID's come with the solid coil.

Whites new detector is the Beach Hunter ID 300. It comes with a 12 inch coil that is yellow, and it isn't on Whites website yet. You can read about the new field test in July issue of Lost Treasures. It might be possible to get the Yellow coil installed on the older ID.

The new Beach Hunter ID 300 also has a new price, $999.95. :o
