Hallelujah, finally got it home, whew! πŸ˜…
The wheels started turning once it got into the driveway, the saw blade even turns like it's new. Not sure what I'm going to do with it yet, I just think it's such a cool piece of history & definitely the biggest thing I've ever dug!! I'm curious as to about how old it is?
I think it'll be a while before I do something like this again, I'm exhausted! πŸ˜‚πŸ€£πŸ˜œ

Hey, I’m proud of you! That took determination to get home. Some folks might have given up on it.
I see the pulley for the flat belt looks to be intact. Oiler cup on one bearing.
I’m no authority. The one my Uncle had was very similar. He helped run it in the early 1940’s and it was old then.
I’d take a wild guess to around 1910 for its year of manufacture.

Must of gave a heck of a signal.....
Oh, it did, blew my coil right off!! πŸ€£πŸ˜…
I'm kidding of course. The wheels were semi buried, the rest had vines wrapped all around it, cutting some of those weren't easy. I'd been working on getting it outta there for well over a week! Ended up replacing the starter & battery on my tractor. πŸ˜‚πŸ€£
Now on to my next adventure. 😊😊

Thank you so much, I had to take some Dual Action Advil when I got home. Lol
The belt that was on it was horribly corroded. I was shocked that the blade was still moving & the wheels started turning, of course it was after dragging it through the gravel in my driveway, which I had to fix. πŸ˜‚
I appreciate your help with the age, thank you so much. 😊

Now that's a very cool recovery for a piece of history.
Congrats on getting it out, and now you can relax for a tad.
