It's A Done Deal!

I am finally free for the summer! All the parties and celebrations have now officially come to an end and I have the rest of the summer for me! WooHoo! After a very long day yesterday I awoke to the feeling that a truck had somehow run me over while I slept....but that didn't put a damper on my plans for detecting! It was OK with me that they were basking in the sun in Hawaii....and I was diggin holes in the hot Alabama sun! I didn't really find anything exciting but it sure was fun just to get out there. Ended up with a handful of change....one wheat, someone's glasses and the usual of course.

Sounds good. Have to do those early morning hunts. Must be very hot and humid down there. I have noticed that when it's hot and I start sweating a lot I tend to pack it up.

hey Nana..... glad ya back in action .....once they get finished demolishing the school and get the debris cleaned up i hope to get several people together to hunt there one day..... just hate to think they may pave over something that will never be found...... let me know if you are interested

Thanks Civil! I did go out for a bit this evenin' to a site I had already hunted and only came up with a 1964 nickle, a regular penny and an old lipstick tube....

We have 6 children, 3 of them got married within a 2 week period of time and each one lived in a different state. It all worked out but when we finally got back home I was so tired even THing didn't sound good to me for at least 8 hours

Now it's time for you to party in the dirt. Don't ya just love getting dirty? If I go any length of time without running my fingers through dirt I get real anxious.

That had to be very close to a nightmare Badger! Love diggin in that dirt too!

The wedding was very pretty AP....but it was a very hot day and being hot and dressed up just don't get it! The ceremony was inside...nice and cool....had to go across a lawn to the reception....and then the dinner and dancing was held outside under the willow trees....beautiful.....but HOT~!
