It's Not Always Easy....

Thanks for posting . It would be easy to miss a lot of those . I need to hold a piece to get the feel of it .

Good post..
Alot of those perforator type tools were used over this way.
I envision them opening clams,oysters... Ect..among other things.

Very interesting information Charl. Not the "prettiest" artifacts pictured, but very interesting. What resource does this info come from. Thanks for posting, and I also appreciate the link to the New York State Museum website you posted a couple weeks ago. HH

Artifacts of Prehistoric America by Louis Brennan. Probably out of print, but google it. I found it to be the most useful guide for showing artifacts not covered by many guides...
