Has anyone here who has metal detected for more than, oh lets say FIVE MINUTES NOT dug up one of those "Heads I win, Tails you lose" novelty coins!

I went to an old homestead last night (with permission of course) and I found lots of nails and nothing else. On the way back to the truck I had a strong dollar signal at zero depth. At first I thought I struck silver, then thought clad, then realized it was the revered novelty flip coin.

Sorry no picture, but I had to ask. It seems EVERYONE at some point in their MDing carrer has pulled one of these from the ground!

Hey Nashoba, it seems there is a surplus of them here. Ill package some up and have the plane scatter them so all can have the thrill (heh heh) of finding them.

Heads I Win Tails You Lose Female Token

I have / had a friend “back in the day” who use to work for one of those “Bachelor Headquarters” that ran pep shows movies in machines. They would use these tokens in place of quarters. Not saying everyone came from a “Porn Shop” because after searching ebay I see they have been around a while. Really don’t know much history other than that.

Also found a web site that sells a Male version of the same coin

This is what I found on ebay (Will not post pic, has Nudity)

Unique novelties and sexy medals of this nature are known by a variety of erotic names which include, love, luck, Busty Betty's, sex, and flipper tokens. The origination of these types of coins date back to the 1930's and 1940's. Since they first appeared, a wide variety of types and styles have been produced.

Give one a flip, you’re always the winner as long as you are the coin bearer! The saying, "Heads I Win, Tails You Lose," hence, is a sure bet. These tokens make nice additions to a collection or a refreshingly hilarious gag gift. Certainly a conversation enhancement!

The risque topless nude girl head side / obverse reads, Heads I Win and features her breasts. On the tail side / reverse, an exposed woman’s naked bottom and the phrase Tails You Lose.

A great adult novelty & collectors item for the gals, guys, newlyweds, couples, bachelorette, bachelor and weddings parties, straight or gay socialites. Whatever your preference! Makes a great pool, billiards or golf ball marker, spot or mark. Great for poker night, drinking and card games. Try leaving one as a tip!

The piece is silver toned and about the size of a United States quarter. Token is nice and shiny.

I have, its posted on a thread about them here somewhere- I guess there are several different styles. Someone told me they are still in use up in Portland, so you should find one eventually Nashoba ;D

Oh I am sure one is somewhere in my future, but it can wait until I find that $20 gold eagle that's waiting ;D

How many have found one of these, and at first gone "Oh my god", thinking you have made an amazing find, only to flip it over to read, "NO CASH VALUE"?

Never found one of those tokens, but it kind of sounds like the same wording on the sign my wife put above our bed. It says "Headache I got / Tail you get none!" ;)

Yep I've found them. I have one that has a hog's head on one side and his rear end and tail on the other. I also have one that has a Jackass head on one side and his rear end and tail on the other. I suppose I have more, but at the moment I don't remember what they are.

Thanks for the post and reminding me of those finds.

HH., Ringfinder

By the way Chucky Cheese tokens are from an arcade here in the States for kids and adults. They use the tokens for all kinds of fun in these arcades.

This one had me cracking up!

Chucky cheese is a pizza place designed to steal a parents money and give them major headaches from listening to screaming children playing extremely expensive games and drinking too much caffinated soda pop.............Been there...Done it...Refuse to go back.......EVER!
