Well, this week ended up ok with 12 40% ers and 1 90% er. If it wasn't for my little trip and hitting up some random banks it would have sucked. I'm going to try to hustle up some dimes after work since they act like it's killing them to order any. Smh.
No halves today apparently there was some issues because of MLK day. That's at both bank. I'm used to one flaking on me but both...Smh. Looks like I'll be scavenging until later in the week and I hope this bank comes through.
I will only post a better than average or something out of the norm from here on out. I don't want the IRS or somebody using my log against me in the future. Right now I know I haven't been doing it long enough but what about 5 years from now when I have a real stack going on. It sucked not to trust your own government and their greed.
The bag I got had about a dollar in dimes one of which was a 1961. The rest of the dimes where bent or cut just really jacked up. I could not believe I found a silver dime in a bag of halves.
I have been having some pretty good luck but this post is because of some change. I went to Atwoods, a hardware store, and got back a 1964 dime in my change. First time getting silver back since I started looking for it. She opened up what looked like a customer roll when she gave it to me and like a true CRHer I jumped back in line and asked for 2 dollars in dimes and she said she couldnt do that. I started to buy some candy just to see but by this time there was people looking at me crazy so I left. I know it wasnt a sold roll because it was like 22 cents and the other dime was clad. I never thought I would get the silver fever this bad. Im a junk silver junkie.
This week was a good week. I had a couple skunks but ended up with 41 40% and 3 90% ers. Yhis has been my best week. I have one more box to pick up maybe I can hit 50! Wishful thinking.
You had a great week. I started off really good this year but I've only found one 40% in my last 8 boxes. Like u said - hit and miss and just luck - sometimes good, sometimes bad. Good luck with your last box.
