Sometimes you have to be vigilant to find your next treasure fix...

So a coworker told me about a local place that was going out of business. Turns out it was an old warehouse type place that also sold estates and antiques. I stopped in this past weekend to look around. The place was CREEPY and PACKED with junk. I would say that it was 90% junk (garbage). Sorting through the place for an hour or so, I still managed to walk away with a NOS FoMoCo sign. It isnt porcelain or anything but it still has nice subject matter. Also found a small basket filled with commemorative spoons. I managed to snag a single silver spoon. It is coin silver and pretty old. Anyway, not a bad haul for a grand total of $5. This also included a few LP's too but they were nothing worth mentioning.

Two great pieces! I love digging through places packed with junk because I usually always find something worth rescuing and whatever you find is usually dirt cheap. Nice saves!

ps- I never find any coin silver down here for some reason.
