Your pictures are taken too closely to really tell.... Try some pics from farther away so we can see the shape of the objects in three dimensional.

The best glass ID site on the internet, hands down, is this one:

They will want pics of the side and bottom of that black bowl in order to get you an ID, like Brian suggested.

I might be able to tell you what it is myself (after seeing new pics), but the forum on the other end of that link has all kinds of glass experts who regularly visit, and surely someone there would know.
