Just another day out hunting....

So I went back to the new middle school that yielded the 1865 IH Penny last week. My goal was to find some gold today. I dug every signal that I went over. I finished with $1.90 in clad and an 1882 Indian Head Penny I also got 2 rings, neither gold nor silver, but oh well, at least they weren't smashed like usual.

The Indian was found near where I found the other one last week. This is some nice fill dirt It was about 2 inches deep.

Oh yeah, that is certainly true.

those indian head pennies are wonderful to find. id like to find my first flying eagle penny, then i might be happy. keep on digging...
