Hard to tell from the pic's, but it looks like granite. My guess is your looking at natural fractures.

The second photo , top right makes it look like it is worked stone. The odds of nature making a flake pattern like that, that even is hard to see.

I agree with minsterrack, second photo looks like piece is flaked. Problem is that it is really thick. Possibly some type of tool.
