I was browsing around in a few gift shops here in Florida and stumbled across this (see below).

I'd like to think one of us came up with this idea and it's a money maker for $10 you can have one of these charming necklaces. I couldn't believe people were actually buying these! How many tabs have you thrown away? All my tabs are at home in a bucket.

This was a good laugh for me and the lady at the counter didn't like me taking the picture of her goods.

That does not look like it took much thought with one tab. My friends wife make entire belts and bags with pull tabs but at least that takes some time and skill. Wow!

You have me curious about what those look like.

Here is my belt.
There actually pretty nice looking and durable.

Interesting. But, if you happen to see the guy who invented pull tabs, tell him I'd like to see him for a minute. ;)

Thanks for showing the hilarious necklaces! AND ALL YALL GET READY TO BE PULL TAB AMAZED: go to Google Images, type in search of "pull tab sculpture" to see CARS and MOTORCYCLES made of pull tabs! Then change the search to "pull tab art" to see MANY complex creations. HAVE FUN! Andi

I've seen armor vests made from pulltabs like these, also a prom dress made from duct tape & pulltabs.

Pull tabs are disappointing when you dig them up. I try to be positive and tell myself well my detector is working. Or next time this pull tab won't be here.

Masonman I'd have to chuckle if I dug that pull tab up.

Have you seen anyone wearing one of those?

Okay, I'm gonna go look for my crochet hook right now! I wanna see if I can make a pouch for my digging tool and Pro Pointer before tomorrow's hunt!!

Here's the wife's necklace and bracelet in sterling fashioned after the tab.
