My first post of any kind on TNet. I recently discovered CRH while looking online to find the value of a 1950 silver dime I found in the register at my last job. CRH looked like more fun than just trying to make a couple bucks from a single coin. Can't afford boxes yet and don't have a whole bunch of free time, so I'll start small. So this begins my log:

10/9/2013

$50 Rolled Halves
#1: Skunk
#2: Skunk
#3: 1967
#4: Skunk
#5: Skunk

$5 Rolled Cents

#1: 1950-D
#2: 1955-D
#3: Skunk
#4: 1951-D
#5: Skunk
#6: Skunk
#7: Skunk
#8: Skunk
#9: 1951-D (ender), 1956-D (behind ender)
#10:: 1970-S (large date)

In this case none of the rolls were actual skunks because my son has a book I've been filling and I pulled 38 pieces for the book and then an additional 65 pieces of copper.

EH mohn nice Bahama cent haven't gotten one of those yet I mainly get Canadians if anything..

I revisited my dimes from 11/7/2013 because I got my son a dime book. I pulled 50 coins for the book as well as a 1999 S that I had missed the first time. It's in pretty rough shape and the edge on the right side is deep for lack of a better word. The edge looks doubled and as a result is "sharp" for lack of a better word. Anyone have any information on what might be the cause?

16$ rolled nickels

1939
Several for the book.

5$ rolled pennies

These apparently were some bodies dumps as all the rolls were marked and I only found 2 copper cents among all of them and nothing else of importance.

11/12/13

100$ mwr halves

Asked about halves on the off chance that they had any and the teller was so excited because someone had just dropped off 100$ worth and she had never even seen a half dollar before. This was the same branch that I got the cent dumps from but I took them all anyways. They were all skunks and I guess from the same guy who cleaned out all the cents. A few of the coins had markings on them. I may turn this branch into my dump and try to score elsewhere so I don't have to keep dealing with someone else's dumps.

I went into this bank two days ago for 5$ worth and they said they had 250$ worth that they needed to ship, so I came back for this 25$ yesterday and they gave me metal carriers and said come on back tomorrow. I think when it's time to start ordering halves this will be my go to bank.

20$ CWR dimes

1948 S

My usual teller had the day off and the other one looked at me like she didn't want to get my 20$ in cents. I adjusted my plan before I got to her and just asked for dimes. Turned out okay!
