Large Coppers,Fattys,Cut Coin, another Shield Nickel, Etc.

I have been pounding an 1871 Church site for the last two days and found these. I have no idea what the cut coin is but it has the diameter of a large cent. The cross, Buffalo Nickel, and pin are from a woods hunt with Gates on Sunday.
My first field hunt of the year and a lucky start.

Looks like a cut Large Cent to me. Rotate the pic 180 and you will see the start of a profile on a Large Cent.

If the cut coin is Spanish (Mexican), it's size would equate to a 2-reales-quartered.

Merf, I have missed your posts here. Glad to see you out and about again. That's a great start with some beautiful finds there. I am always impressed with the 2centers you dig. Just tells you that you're hitting the right age of sites to get 'em.

Agreed. Based on the position of the nose and the start, I think its a matron head largie, 1816-1839.
