hello all,i'm new here.thought i'd drop in to show you the sort of things i find in and around where i live(liverpool, england).
just getting back into detecting after a couple of years absence.
went out with my youngest son(he's eight) for an hour a day for the last 3 days to the local park.
he loves finding things too.

Welcome to the forum. Good finds.

I noticed that your 19?? penny looks like a US Lincoln memorial. Not sure if you were aware, but those were first minted in 1959, and continue today.

here it is,
quick photo session lol.
i've put it next to the 1940 one to give an idea of what it looks like.
you can just make out the 86 of the 186?

i didn't know that,
thanks,narrows it down(i think i can make out a 6 so it would be 196?)
don't know how it ended up in the park but i'm sure i'll find more.
