Up at 5am again this morning for my last outing here on Cape Cod before heading back to California tomorrow. I spent 3 hours in the water, and ended up with three rings and an assortment of coins. I can't tell you how thrilled I was to see that gold circle in my scoop again this morning, not just once, but twice!!! I also found what looks to be a child's hairpin that was missing the pin (the thing with two flowers and little stones in the flowers).

The rings were a man's gold wedding band, a small gold pinky or toe ring, and a black encrusted (silver?) claddagh ring.

Here are the pics of todays finds. In the last pictures you can see the three gold rings that I found this week together. Makes me think of the three bears - this ring was too big... this ring was too small... this ring is just right. In the last picture you can see just how huge the ring is that I found the other day, as the normal sized wedding band fits inside of it.

Congrats!
Looks like you had a great time at the Cape. I saw the big ring in your other post,
but now it looks HUGE. :tongue3:

You had a nice trip there.

Your hobby paid for part of it. You had fun and made money too.

That little gold ring could also be a child's ring. I see every so often at the beach little 3 year olds loaded down with gold. Seems like a strange thing to do but customs from other places.

The silver toe ring is neat too. I found 3 over a 2 day period. They were so encrusted that the only way to clean them was with electrolysis. It's neat watching the process in a glass. The stuff just falls off of the ring. You have to be careful and watch it for the time it is plugged in.

I won't be back to the beach for almost one month....away on business.
