Went out for a few hours hunting a grassy strip around one of the older buildings on campus. Dug some roached junk, a washer, a zinc penny, and a pull tab. But I did find two really cool relics. An art-deco copper key which was the first signal I got, and an old inspection tag. ;D Most of my finds were right in the hole or in the plug, so my pinpointing skills are improving somewhat. Gonna head back later this evening and see what else is there. 8) Might post pics later.

Looks like a mailbox, or maybe a bank deposit box key? What does it say on the logo?
