Here is one frame of my quartz points. The other frame is larger and I’m still filling it up. I find maybe 1 quartz point for every 20 chert points. Let’s see some of those quartz points everyone has found. You don’t worry about posting too many you won’t hurt my feelings.

Lake Martin area surface finds from Elmore, Coosa & Tallapoosa counties. I've rearranged these from time to time so some of the same one(s) will appear in the 1st two frames.

I don't see much quartz here. Mostly Edward Cherts. When that's around I guess you don't mess with Quartz. I do have a few from way North East Texas. It's much more difficult to work than cherts and Flint.

Mine? I’ve got another that’s bigger. I had bought them from a guy who was making them but decided to stop so I got the close out price.
I meant to mention yours Creek, those are cool but I bet pretty expensive. Hey Terry; thanks for the message about your frames. I should of known who they're from; those are the same size and look as mine that I've purchased from Troy.

I’ve gotten a few from Troy at shows. He knows the guy I bought mine from.

Here's a few of mine I found at the same site in Central Georgia. My phone is terrible at taking pictures in unnatural light; especially dealing with quartz.
