Don't know much about the Atlanta area but around here (greater Philly area) most, if not all, of the school districts wouldn't be to happy to see anyone MD'ing on any of their closed properties. Especially with all the copper stealing going on. The cops would probably give you a hard time and maybe cite you for trespassing. Unfortunately that's just the way it is.
