Little help identifying please

Found this dark green mineral yesterday while panning for gold up but the Fraser river. It's fairly heavy. One pic I got it wet to show off the green . image.jpg image.jpg image.jpg

If you can do a gravity test and its in the 2.9 range, then it might be BC nephrite. Some of the best nephrite in the world methinks.

I was thinking it might be tourmaline crystal. It does scratch with a knife.i am going to look up because nephrite and see how it compares. Thanks for the replys!!!
