A couple hours at a very old foundation in the woods. Tons and tons of nails all shapes and sizes, but a few relics. The big badge is from the 1800's coal company in the area.

Question is on the decorative piece. The 2 halves were about 20' apart, but I think they go together. Any idea on what this is?

Wow that is a cool find.
Locket as you say, maybe, or tie clip with that "thing" on the back.
I don't know, but is a nice old find for sure.
Someone should know, but that is not always the case either.
