This was the 2nd pounded out place I hit today... I dont have any new places to hunt so if I am to get out, I have to hit the same old places.... but in addition to my other post from the 1st house, the 2nd yielding this cool locket type thing.... it rotates from the top little hasp, but nuttin was on the inside.... the site has already yielded an 1866 shield nickel, 1/2 of a large cent, one hole that had 37 memorial pennies in it, a special olympics medal, over 125 clad coins in all, and 7 wheats, I hit another keeper from it tonite along with 6 more clads......

The back is smooth..... inside has no designs

Re: Locket Type Item

That's a beautiful find.
I believe it will have had quite some significance to it's previous owner.
It probably held a little gemstone in the middle of the star.
Treasure.
