I wasn't sure what I had found until NC Joe dipped it into a half frozen horse trough to remove the dirt. Thanks to Jamie for setting up this hunt, the land will be sold soon and any chance to recover relics will be slim.

Hmmm, not on the banner yet? Get to see a lot of the birds but very few of these types posted here. Figured this would have hit the banner in a shot.

Oh well, it's a nice example. Glad you caught it before it got buried for a millenia. Keep looking hard in that area. Seems you have a nice spot to excavate.
