You can't go to wrong using All Metal for relics. You want depth and be able to find iron too. Would you like to find a sword?

I agree with sandman, mixed mode may not be as effective as all metal. I didnt care for the disc set in the standard program and think if you are in an area without a lot of junk you need to lower your recovery. If im relic hunting i raise the AC and preamp as well as the VDI sensitivity a little more. keep and eye on your COARSE you may have to reduce your AUTOTRAC speed if it starts drifting toward 0. not a big fan of modulation either.
