We just put up a new article on lost bars of gold. Now this has been written about before, but the original article is not available any longer (at least not to my knowledge). The person who did most of the investigative work on this found an older person who actually knew one of the soldiers and hunted for the treasure himself for years. After talking to him, it was determined that the area of this lost treasure was completely different than where it was originally thought to be. We are going to add information about this and also add another map to the tale.
We usually look into several of these a year and most get set aside for one reason or another. Usually because there is just not enough info, or the original information is no longer available, making it a waste of time. This one is one of the best we've found for quite a while. So why don't we go and look, we do, in vehicles, but that's where our adventure stops, because of age, physical condition, and time. We're hoping someone will find it, and if you do don't forget where you heard it. LOL.
