Hunted a local swim area today....yes, in the water....in Michigan....in January!
Found only a little clad, a couple kids rings , and a small 925 earring.
Before leaving, I swapped out detectors and hunted the grass for awhile.
Found some change and plenty of pulltabs and then something flashy.
Spent about 10 minutes separating this beauty from its grass root entanglements'
It has the look and the wieght....I was thouroughly excited......until I got home.
Close inspection told me it wasnt the real deal.....very pretty, but gilded.
