I was wondering if the 9.5. Coil on the M6 is the same as the 950 on the Mxt's. I've got the 9.5 on my M6,and the 300mm on my Mxt, I also have the 8x14 did(Heavy). Was wanting a good coil for trashy areas. Any help would be appreciated. Thank you

Yes the coils on the M6 and the MXT are swap-able. For trashy areas use the 6X10 or for really trashy areas use the 4X6. These coils can be used on both your M6 and the MXT.

Yes the 9.5 is the same coil for Mxt. I personally use this coil for low trash wide open places like soccer fields or parks. 90% of my coin & jewelry hunting is done with the 6.5 inch coil (5.3 Eclipse) on the M6 because of more trash target areas. I hunt a lot around foundations, playground equipment, sidewalks, rodeo arenas, old horse racing tracks (match tracks) ect; Good luck with whatever you choose! Cg

I think I've narrowed it down to the 6x10 or the 5.3

That is exactly what I have. Both are great.

I've been hearing that the D2 10DD coil is better then the 6x10. Any thoughts?

Well more or less; it's deeper but doesn't separate like the 10x6. Unfortunately there is just not ONE coil to do it all.

Is there a "shooter" type coil for the M6? I'm looking for the smallest coil available. We have the DD (it's white...can't think of the size) and the stock coil. I have the Prizm shooter that works on my Coinmaster, but different frequency, so won't work on the M6. Is the 5.3 the smallest coil? Thanks for the help.

Anita

Yep the 4x6 & the 5.3 is as small as it gets for the M6.
