It's unusual to find jars filled with..

..one type/coloration marbles. I see what appear to be some oldies in there. But I'm wondering if the jars were 'salted' with a few oldies the rest of the marbles being newbies. I've had that trick tried on me at antique shops. Duffy's the expert on this sort of thing so he's the man to ask. I get real suspicious when I see large amounts of marbles the exact same design/color scheme sold as antique marbles. That's not how antique marbles are found 'in the wild'.

I'll take a guess..

..that those marbles were made in Mexico,recently. The marbles may have been purchased by the seller from a toy store going out of business for $5.

those are modern marble king marbles made in paden city,wv... prob in the 90s....you overpaid a little.....theyre about 10 cent apiece....hang onto em....someday you could recoup....
