Aloha lldein,

Nice color on that. It's not a whiskey or beer form in Western bottledom, though it could be a small whiskey.

If you sensed additional glass in the area, I'd wanna return with proper shovels & scratchers. Hawaiian bottles are avidly collected.

This is a modern whiskey from Kotobukiya Ltd.:

Yeah, nice bottle. There is or was a small group of bottle diggers on here from Hawaii. I don't know if they still frequent the forum though. Now get out there and go deep!

I also found this, it is 1 3/8 in. in diameter, some kind of metal and a flower design on one side, I haven't been able to get it open yet, a locket?

Hey lldein,

Looks like you had some fun! Nothing like digging a pack full of new glass. I'm looking forward to proper introductions, after their bath. The little metal round thing, I suspect, is a makeup compact.

LOL, there were alot of throw aways we really want the Maui round bottoms but it's easier to get bit by a shark. I thought better of posting that cause I need to stick to the thread.lol My wife says that's to small to be a compact. I need to find a way to clean it and possibly get it open ,not sure what it's made of.

Well I got it open, there was some kind of dried up cream , then I realized that is probably a pic of the sun, kind of makes sense, early sunscreen?

FailCat,
right on the money! Mahalo.

The weird part is that compact is 1950's and I found a KA medicine bottle which dates back to 1910 on the same level, the bulldozers back in the day must of mixed everything up, guess I was wrong on the dump closing in the 40's.
