So awesome! I've been hoping to find a seated soon, but I suppose I should temper my expectations as I have yet to find a barber half. :) Nice find!

Congratulations and welcome to the Seated Society. She might be the second finest Seated Liberty behind only Riley Boy's that has been reported here. Your coin had approx. 5 million minted and in VG condition, it would be valued at $40.

I just saw your updated photos, and she is one sexy lady. She might push a Fine (I'd like to see better definition on Liberty) in which case she would be valued at $50.

Does the Seated Society only apply to halves? Because if dimes are included, than I think I would be a member. This year, I've found an 1876 seated liberty and an 1856 seated liberty!

That's awesome! Congratulations. I've never found one of those and I don't know if I ever will.

Doesn't matter the denomination. When you are visited by a Barber, it might just be a little off the top or a crew-cut - a haircut none the less. Same goes when the Lady visits.

It's awesome seeing some of the old regulars still on here!
I assumed I'd get on and it would be a whole new crop of people lol.

But thank all of you guys for the positive feed back. You have no idea how excited I got when I pulled that one out of the bag!

Nice find from a bag ($.50). Should go back and see if bags of quarters, dimes, & nickels available. This type coin just didn't appear out of the blue. Most likely there's some other TYPE coins in the same dump. Go ask.
