MD the bad part of town "ghetto hunt", thought I found my 1st class ring

Went out hunting an old park in the ghetto first thing in the morning. My buddy was running late so I decided to start detecting, within 10min 2 crackheads started shouting cuss words of all kinds so I hopped into my car and drove around till my bud showed up. :tongue3:

Well we hunted for 8 hours and in that time another buddy showed up so that was a goodthing (strength in numbers). Well I was getting wheaties pretty regularly and my 2nd to last target was my silver Rosie, I didn't think I was going to pull a silver so I was real happy!!! Also in my last few targets is when I probed the hole and wiped some dirt away and saw a ruby staring up at me, I snatched it out of the hole and waved my buddies over while not to attract any attention to myself to get the locals interested. Well I quickly seen that my class ring was just a cheap ghetto plated bling but it was still good for a laugh.

The bell I found about half way through the hunt and it came up as a perfect penny signal at 7 inches (most of the old coins came in at 4 to 6 and some at 8 inches deep). It is marked "INDIA" on the inside rim. Any idea how old the bell is? :help:

I also found:
38 memorials
13 clad dimes
6 clad quarters

*the lighting is bad in the 1st pix but without it the wheaties all were too dark to see so I used a desk lamp to brighten it up.

Great hunt.....and wise descretion. Crackheads can be very unpredictable.
Love that old bell. I hunt in S. Korea, and the bells I find sometimes have markings that are not
common in the U.S. Quite unique.
And a good pile of coins. Be safe!!

Nice huntin' Fiend. Smart move on your part to avoid having to "crack" one of the crackheads...upside the head ;D

The bell is no as old as it 'kinda' looks, remember many things are still hand-made in India.
