I have a 1/4 balboa coin. I forget the date but I know that it is .900 silver. I love the designs on these coins.

I love panama medio balboas. I found 2 90% silver ones and 3 40%ers. I also found a few clad ones by accident because I only did edge search. "Accident" meant that I tilted the coins in my palm or I dropped the coins on floor, table, and the bag.

1966-72 were made of 40% silver and they used the same planket as our 40% JFK halves.
1930-62 were made of 90% silver.

What about 1962-1965?

1962 was 90%, there were none minted from 1963-1965. Also, the 40% ones are only until 1970, the 1971-1972 are only silver proofs.

I see you've relaxed your attack on balboas. Did you happen to get a lot of them and not die or get a 100 box skunk streak?
