Meet " Manitowac" and the sequile...Manitowacs First Treasure

Although I scored a few nice targets the other night, I folded my scoop in the process:(
BUMMER
Not to be held down, I delmed away in my laboratory for half the day yesterday.
Using parts from things that have surpassed thier worldly usefullness ,I created the beast that I have dubbed..Manitowac!

Took it out for a test drive this morning and .........

After looking over this post, something looked very familiar about that 10k ring.I went back through my recent posts, and sure enough...I found the same ring at the same beach a couple of hunts ago....

I wonder if the same person who lost the first ring, ahd a replacement made, and then lost it again. And man, that scoop is beastly alright. How long til your custom scoop business goes global?

That is a beast of a scoop.

Congrats on finding gold.

I hope that the initials stand for something other than the person who lost them. That would stink.....for him or her.

Its all aluminum....tips the scale at 4.12 lbs....looks heavier than it is.
Ive checked out some scoop sites and seen scoops as large as 9lbs.....couldnt imagine dragging one of those around.

I can't see the welds very good but most non professionals lay on the weld thick with aluminum therefore you must be a professional (or have a really good grinder) (not enough nuts and bolts in "Manitowac") but its a beast for sure maybe you want to put two neck bolts in it !!! Just kidding R/Mike

Nice scoop! Too bad sharks are just like bulls - they tear after the color red like crazy!!!!!

Just kidding ~ and besides, it looks like you are hunting freshwater lakes anyways, so no sharks to worry about.

Mostly hunt the local beaches...sand covered clay bottoms. When time allows Ill hunt areas of Huron, Michigan , and St.Clair...mostly sandy in the mid to southern part of the state....rocky to the north.

Are you on the east side of Cleveland? I'm near the western basin, and we have lots of sand.
