Someday I will have an african gray as well..I love those birds.... I know theres a rescue group but I wont chance it..guy down the street, ended up with one embedded in his head, neighbor heard him screaming and had to come over and hit the bird off his head with a broom... see, no one told this poor old man ( now passed) that the bird didnt like men... so the poor ole guy guy ended up with stitches in his head...and get this..he passed away to the exact date, of his wifes 5 yr. anniv of her death..tell me thats not weird.

Bootybay, get a baby 13 weeks. Mine has inflicted many bloody bites to her fingers. They can take that powerful beak right to the bone. On the other hand that darn Quaker flew and latched on to my stomach. Quite painful. I also forgot Apache the Arabian and Cassidy the Palomino. Thanks for the replies Ray.

Nice Quaker 'keet and African Grey. I got a noisy Blue Front Amazon and a Blue and Gold Macaw. My hearing is slowly going down the toilet!!!!
