Started walking over some ground that spit out a couple of wheats and some close to '65 quarters, so the trail was hot. TIme was limited but out came this mercury dime and the token. The token was used here in NYC for paying tolls on the bridges. Not sure when they stopped making them, but it wasn't long ago. Dress shoes and pants are not exactly metal detecting attire, but what to do when you gotta go detecting after work? Photos attached.

Nice digs. And, of course, NICE DIGS. ;)

Never done the dress pants, but dress shoes, well ...

Like the one knee pad. I use two because I don't have the discipline to stay that far away from the hole. :)

Nice Job.

I also only use 1 knee pad. If I used two and got down on both knees I would never get back up ;D

Definately true........I try to do sneakers and sweat pants, but sometimes I just don't want to lug even more gear and cloths in my bag.........it takes an average 1 full hour standing in a super crowded NYC subway train to get to work. With that said, many a time I'll be out there in even shirt and tie digging away.

Nice digs there.

As for the attire.... no dress code applies, but I usually carry a spare pair of tennis shoes in the turnk as well as a tee shirt. Just in case.

Normally we dress very casual at work and the change is not reqired, but there are the days when I am dressed ( meetings or special appointmenst) and want to make a detour on the way home. Walking the beach in leather shoes is not a good idea.

Thank you McSancho for the ideas on how to quickly build my post count ::)

Oh yeah...congrats on the Merc. Even though I have found more Mercs than any other silver coin, they're still my favorite coin! Every one I pull I cross my fingers for that 1916D.
I also use one knee pad and hunt in work clothes often. Gotta do whatever it takes.
