Hello to you all here on the treasurenet forum. I am a senior in high school and I am planning a senior trip to go metal detecting in an outside state. I currently live in SoCal and I hunt for silver, relics, rings, and anything that has any kind of historic significance. I think hunting for civil war relics would be really cool but I'd say any area dated in the mid-to-early 1800's would suffice. Im not trying to intrude on your secret hunting grounds or anything, just would like a state and city that you would recommend. Thank you :icon_thumleft:

I know they found some warship cannons on the beach of northern oregon. silver coins are still being found there. Not to much in southern oregon beaches. But places like medford or central point in oregon. If you find an old abandond school some place you might get lucky with some silver.
