Metal Detection in Pakistan?

I will be in Islamabad for 1 year, and would like to know if it is legal to use my metal detector there?

Hey Dude.......you don't need a metal detector in Pakistan.........just stick yer hand up in the air a time or two......there are enough bullets in the air, you are bound to "detect" one or two!

I second that, Crazy geek. Thanks if you are going over there to serve. Would there be any reason to not metal detect out there? Could there be mines or anything to watch out for in pakistan that would make you not want to detect? Would customs let you bring any of your finds back home? Or would they keep it all?
