I would try takingmthe screws into your local hardware store and see if they have the same screw in a longer length or an alternative that will work.

Did you add anything in there too make them too short or its not aligned right and making them too short? I had that problem with a Classic ID and it was a misaligned somehow and they wouldnt go back on. Don't ask me how it got misaligned cause for the life of me it only looks like it can go on one way and be idiot proof but it was off just a hair and wouldn't go till I monkied with it for a while

I took the screws off of my Whites Tdi sl that keeps the control box on the stick but when I put them back on there to little so they won't keep the box on the stick. Is there any way to fix this or is there some were I can buy replacement screws?

Be careful if detector is under warranty, don't know about Whites but you open up a Minelab under warranty you void the warranty...
