I was looking into buying myself a metal detector and I know that there are many brands and different models for each brand. I don't know too much about metal detectors. I was wondering if any of you guys had any advice about which ones are better. I want to get a good one but not one that breaks the bank. I want one that has good depth for cache hunting, but that has an easy to read and use display, not one where I would have to study the manual for six months to figure out how to use. I was told by someone that White's detectors are not good for my state California because they claimed that the soil here is "highly mineralized." Tell me about the pluses and minuses of each brand and/or model
