Started the week Monday by getting Permission to hunt one of the oldest places in town, well actually what was the side yard its an area 40' x 120'
Thats where I found the V nickel 1901and other stuff it was a first for me, it would have been a great week if thats all I had done.
Tuesday, get invited to hunt an old Chinese Ghost Town up in the gold country by Old California (Paul) thats where I ran into a Rattle snake and later I found the 1869 Shield Nickel Two firsts in one coin
Shield and 1800's and I forgot to add on my post that the guy on the property next to use was shooting at something all day couldn't see him because he was on the other side of the hill I hope it was just target practice 20+ shots, they say he shot his other neighbors dog on his property kind of spooky.
Wednesday, The Kinzlis forum is having a group hunt at Golden Gate park in San Francisco, I was not going to go to far to drive well after having my coffee and something to eat put my stuff in the truck and I'm off got there a little after 11:00am 2 1/2 hour drive took me 5 1/2 hours to get home anyway hunted for about 4 hrs got some clad and 1 wheat and a 1907 Indian head met some of the guys not all to spread out and not enough time plus hunting had a good time except for the driving here is the link
