Rt. 23 littered with money

Accidentally leave a few thousand dollars in cash on the roof of your car? Delaware police found it for you.
A driver on Rt. 23 called police at about 11 a.m. yesterday reporting money scattered in the median, said Officer Rita Mendel.
It took officers an hour and a half to collect all the bills, which totaled in the five figures, though police are not releasing the exact amount.
Police are still waiting for the owner of the money to come forward.
