Michael:

Go to several libraries and ask the librarians if there is a section holding books of
personal reminiscences and county and town histories. First hand stories of the
pioneer settlers contain some of the best sources of hidden caches. No one is
going to give you an authentic treasure lead, you have to do the research to find
what others haven't discovered. Also read up on crime stories in your area.

If you have not read Karl von Mueller's Treasure Manuals get hold of them to give
you ideas on where to begin. Even if you never dig up a cache you will get a useful
knowledge of Indiana history. Btw did you know that Indiana rivers contain glacial
gold?
