Went back to the woods near the defunct amusement park. The other day I had given up on a deep signal that I just couldn't find. I had to go back and find it. Took a Lesche entrenchment tool with me this time and I located the target. It was an old wheat penny and it was up against the side of the hole and under a tree root. But I got it. I ended up coinshooting for another 4 hours and found a few more things. The Minelab Explorer was again finding deep coins that I and others had missed with other detectors. It is one great metal detector.

The best find was this 1898 Barber Quarter. It was at least 10 inches deep.

Also found this 1943 Quarter in a hole with a Buffalo nickel and an Indian Head penny. This little glory hole was also very deep.

On the other hand, this 1943 silver war nickel was right on top of the ground.

Two 1907 Indian Heads, one pretty nice and the other not so nice.

An 1883 V Nickel and a no date Buffalo Nickel.

What a haul! That Barber is SWEET!!!!
Congrats on a great day hunting!
I think all the PA guys have had some serious cabin fever lately. I know I have. Even if it's still cold, it just feels good to swing a detector, and be able to dig.
Nice stuff!!!
