Hi everyone,

I went for a 30 min. hunt at the 1850's trading post site last night. There is an area about 50 yards away from where the building used to be that seems to contain the good stuff. Found a really big bullet. Don't know what kind it is except I think it's black powder muzzle loader. A couple buttons, one gold plated plain. Some kind of silver thing. My first thought was the tip off of a bolo tie. Don't know. Another religious pendant. Thanks for looking.

The bullet looks like a .45-70 or .50-70. Real common for the north west during the Indian Wars out here.

The bolo tie thinggy could be some piece of Native American trade jewelry also.

Great handful of finds!
